The US Senate Intelligence Committee's just released report on torture by the CIA and military at US "dark sites" around the world and in Afghanistan was the topic of December 10th's "This Can't Be Happening!" program. Host Dave Lindorff interviews University of Illinois Law School professor Francis Boyle, an expert in international law, about the crimes of the Bush/Cheney administration, and of the Obama administration. Boyle has filed war crimes and torture charges against Bush, Cheney and a host of underlings including former Assistant Attorney General John Yoo at the International Criminal Court in the Hague. Boyle says that while not much new came out of the Senate committee's report, the fact that the Senate put its imprimatur on the torture charges could put considerable pressure on the judges at the ICC to accept the case against Bush and Cheney & Co
